1. Using JAWA.FOOD

JAWA.FOOD is a public catalogue for finding local food businesses and reading their menus. These terms explain use of the website. The legal operator is identified in Provider and contact details below.

The current service lets you search by postcode, filter businesses and browse public business information. Browsing does not place an order, take payment, reserve a table or create a delivery commitment. Features marked as coming soon are not promises that they are available.

Any order, purchase, booking or other arrangement you make separately with a business is between you and that business, under the terms it provides. JAWA.FOOD does not currently process that transaction.

2. Business information and food choices

The catalogue uses approved public business and menu information. Menus, prices, opening hours, availability and fulfilment options are supplied information and can change. We aim to display current details, but cannot guarantee that every listing is complete or that an item is available when you contact a business.

Contact the venue before relying on a price, opening time, delivery area or collection arrangement. Nearby results can include dine-in-only businesses. Proximity alone does not establish delivery coverage, and missing delivery information is not confirmation that delivery is available.

Allergen information is supplied by the venue. Missing information does not mean allergen-free. Ask the venue directly about ingredients, allergies, intolerances and cross-contamination before choosing food.

Distances are approximate straight-line distances from postcode locations, not driving distances or delivery times. Map locations may be approximate and may not identify the entrance; confirm directions with the venue where needed.

3. Lawful use and ownership

Use the website lawfully. Do not try to bypass security, access private records, introduce malicious code, interfere with availability or use the service to harass another person or business.

We retain rights in our software and branding. Business names, menus and other supplied content remain subject to their owners' rights. You may use the website to discover businesses and read the information made available; these terms do not transfer ownership of that content.

If you believe a listing is inaccurate or infringes your rights, contact us using the details below so that we can investigate. Do not send unnecessary sensitive information or payment credentials in an enquiry.

4. Availability and responsibility

We will use reasonable care and skill to provide the website. Maintenance, network failures, business updates and third-party services may affect availability or accuracy. We may change or restrict a feature where reasonably needed to maintain the service, comply with law or address misuse.

Businesses remain responsible for their products, food safety, prices, services and communications with you. Contact the relevant business about an arrangement you have made directly with it. This does not remove any responsibility that the law places on JAWA.FOOD.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your statutory consumer and data protection rights remain unchanged.

Our Privacy Policy explains postcode searches, public business information, browser requests, support correspondence and your rights. Our Cookie Policy explains essential cookies, your choice and requested browser preferences. A cookie choice does not amount to agreement to an order or permission for unrelated marketing.

Postcode lookup uses Postcodes.io. Shop maps contact OpenFreeMap when you request a map; the optional checkout preview loads its map when checkout opens. External websites or services have their own notices and terms; we do not control their content or the arrangements you make with them.

6. Changes, questions and governing law

We identify revised website terms by a new version and date. Material changes will be brought to your attention where appropriate. Changing this page does not create a customer account, place an order or obtain consent to new processing.

These website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to mandatory applicable law and any consumer protections that apply where you live. Nothing prevents you from using a court or regulator available under those mandatory rights.
